Not to be outdone by it's homeland competitor, LG, Samsung has just announced the Gear S, powered by Samsung's Tizen OS. The watch arrives with a curved display and doesn't even need a smartphone to stay connected as the watch features built-in 3G connectivity.
The watch's display is a 2" Super AMOLED screen and can stay connected to all your favorite social networks with its built-in 3G antenna and also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. You can also keep in touch with an on-screen keyboard for emails and messages and apps like HERE give you turn-by-turn walking directions and Samsung's S Health and Nike+ Running apps take care of all your fitness needs. Look for the Gear S at Samsung dealers this October.
