bungie.halo

On March 31, 2012; Bungie waves farewell to Halo for the last time, as it handed-down the Halo franchise to 343 Industries and Microsoft. Bungie will no longer be in charge of hosting or updating stats or service records for its Halo titles. This also includes generated content like maps, screenshots, save films and Bungie Pro. All this will now exist on Halo Waypoint.

Bungie previous said in the past that its historical Halo data would remain on their site “for as long as the Internet and Bungie’s data storage systems remain functional.” To reinforce this promise, the team put together an amazing graphic that showcases the playtime and stats for all online Halo games over the past few years, viewable below.

From the unbelievable 20+ billion games played across all Halo titles, to the total playtime across the franchise at over 235,182 years, to the….well, you see where I’m going with this.

The numbers are staggering – take a look for yourself.
